Ok, that’s a bit of a stretch (the blog isn’t getting that much attention), but I am going to host a dinner party using a menu prepared by Mr. Ripert. Earlier this week on his blog, Avec Eric, Mr. Ripert introduced Dinner Social. Dinner Social is a series of monthly dinner parties with seasonal menus created by Mr. Ripert. A description of the menu from the blog – “It will include two canapés and three courses (first, main and dessert) and I will also suggest wine pairings for each stage of the meal. I will write for you a step-by-step plan that will allow you to enjoy the party rather than working at the stove for the whole time. It is not going to be too complicated. It will be an easy way to combine wonderful, fresh ingredients and simple techniques to create an elegant meal.” Sounds easy enough, right? We will see when the first menu – Market Table – is posted on Monday (10/27).
