I am an early-thirty something professional who lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side with my husband of two years. Although I have always been serious about good food, NYC has nurtured my passion. There is no better city in the world for foodies (San Franciscans probably disagree). Given the myriad number of restaurants in NYC, it’s important to choose restaurants carefully so I do my research and keep a list of restaurants that I want to try. The list has become famous among our friends. I am often asked the all-important question – “Is it on the list?” And now I am sharing the list with you. I am also an amateur chef – I tease my husband that my bourgeoning cooking skills are quite a bonus since I was barely competent behind the stove when he married me. I do have other interests – like working out (which I do so that I can eat) and reading (cookbooks primarily…not really, but I do have a growing collection), and wine (naturally).
